In order to protect the longevity of Akranit, there are some important points that should be reminded while using the product.
- Do not use Akranit as a cutting surface.In necessity of cutting process, put a cutting board on top of the Akranit surface. One should especially take care not to drag a heavy pan, stewpot, etc. Over the Akranit surface.
Please be aware that dirt, dust and scratchs can be seen easily on the dark coloured Akranit surfaces. As these surfaces are more delicate than the others, one should keep in mind these recommendations in order to be able to use Akranit clean and smooth for a long time.
- Abundant soapy water would be enough in order to clean the Akranit surface. A dish detergent can also be used instead of a soap. One can dry the humid Akranit surface preferably with a dry and soft towel or cloth. Do not use corrosive cleaning cloths or detergents while cleaning the solid surface.
-Please take care not to expose Akranit surface to destructive substances like powerful chemicals. In case of exposing by accident, the surface should be cleaned with plentiful of water. In case of necessity, the rigid stains that occur on Akranit should be cleaned gently with a thin sandpaper.
- Although the Akranit solid surfaces are durable, they should not be touched to very hot objects. A tablemat should be put on top of the surface and under the hot object like pans, stewpots, etc. Before putting them on the solid surface.
- You can use your Akranit surface gladly for a long time and without any need for repair.
Do not forget that the Akranit surface can be easily repaired in case of any sort of damage. Akranit can be repaired in the same place where it is mounted and can easily gain its previous appearance.
